This year has had it's ups and downs.  I finished last year playing some of the best golf I have, started this year hot, and have been in a slump for most of this year.  I cash in 2 of my first events and have finished just out of cash since.

Look for the team to do big things this year.  I plan on having a big touring year.

 My wife and I, fellow team memeber Kari Nydle, are working through an Edge Propsal that would move disc golf into her school this year as well.  Thanks to the Iowa Tour and everyone who has helped to make this possible.

This past weekend was the annual K-9 Karnival in Burlington, IA.  We played the temp course at Crapo and duece or die Dankwardt Park.

First round I was carded with Team memebers Chris Sprague, Fat Boss, Kirk Rameriez, and local boy Hamilton Miller.  I had reviewed last years scores and new that if I could hang with Sprague I could put myself in good position.  He had shot the only under par score last year with (-3).  The round started rough with 2 good putts that spit.  My putting felt good and I kept feeding the basket and they finally started sticking.  I hit some big jump putts on some big hole and ended tied with Sprague at (-5).

This season has been full of ups and downs, new experiences and memeories.  2009 is my first full season in Pro and has been a rollercoaster.  I have had my highest rated round (1031) and also some of my lowest rated rounds (couple sub 900 rounds).

I started off hot with a doubles win in the Franklin Freeze Ice Bowl with fellow Team memeber Mike Freburg and cashed in the first 2 sanctioned events.  I have cashed in half of the events I have played this year so far (12 total PDGA events) and the rest of the year is looking promising.  I went from someone that just last year was struggling to not finish DFL in Open to playing on a few leader cards.  I have learned so much this year as far as what it truely takes and just need to work on consistancy.

This weekend heading back to my old stomping grounds for the Osky tourny and then back to the QC for the Safari.

Osky is about 20 minutes from my parents house and one of the courses I started playing on.  Lots of good times and good friends made from that area along the way.  Looking forward to Sunday the most and the Safari, this is always a must!  Look for a big local turn-out and bring your overstable stuff cause it is always breezy along that highway :)
