Relevant

So this past weekend i had the privlege of playing the United States Ametuer Disc Golf Championship, and i was overly impressed with the entire event.  The player packs were great, the staff was friendly and helpful and the course was incredible.  Having lunch at the course for after your round was great because the course is exhausting and Mark Ellis' Lizzard games were a silly and fun way to decompress after some grueling compition.

Well its about half way through the season and its been quite a year so far.  Ive had a rollercoaster of a year so far.  Ive shot some really great rounds, including my first ever 1000 rated round, and finnished well in some tournements.  unfortunately ive also played some very embarrassing rounds and ended up near the bottom in a couple events.  I feel that i can play very well its just a matter of putting my game together and staying consistant, hopefully that will come with time.

I finally made it to this tournament, and i understand now why everyone says this is the greatest tournament ever.  It was well run by great people, the courses were great and the turn out was huge!  I know that i will not miss this event again!!  I absolutely loved the Krumboltz course, tight and technical with some open and longer holes mixed in, very fun. 

I started off the tourney playing well, I shot a 55 at Krumboltz, which turned out to be the hot round in my division.  This is the first time I have been in the lead in a sactioned Advanced event.  Well from there it was all down hill, the next three rounds were average at best, and i finished tied for 15th.  Still a good showing.
